At least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences / Humanity or

At least 55% marks in Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics or other qualification equivalent thereto.

( Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/PWD)

Guidelines and Instructions

  1. Before applying, be ready with your recent passport size photo.

  2. Before applying, Scan your signature(and photo).

  3. Be ready with a Valid mobile number and email-Id to which SMS alert and every correspondence can be done.

  4. Start filling up online Application Form

  5. Click “Save & Continue” option for verifying the filled-up Form shown.
    (College authority will not be responsible for any false information provided by the candidates after this stage.)

  6. Click ‘Payment’ option to reach “Bill Desk” (automatic generated portal) for pay online.

  7. Print the filled-up application form and payment slip & preserve it (don't send to college office before counselling).

Filling Up Academic Qualification Details

  1. For H.S. (under WBCHSE or CBSE class XII or ISC Class XII or equivalent level), % of best five marks obtained in any subject is required to enter (inclusion of two subjects from language group is not mandatory).

  2. Pass/General Graduates have to enter the % of total marks in the ‘B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. pass/General’ row.

  3. Honours Graduates have to enter the % of marks in the row of 'Honours Degree'

  4. Honours Graduates having < 50% in Honours but >=50% in (Hons.+ Pass/General) will be considered as Pass/General
    and have to enter the % of marks in ‘B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. pass/General’ row.(5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD)

  5. Honours Graduates having < 50% in Honours but >= 50% in Master Degree are also elligible
    and should not enter the % of marks in ‘B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. pass/General’ row.(5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD)

  6. Honours or Master Degree candidates who have not studied subjects offered by the college at Honours or Master Degree but studied it at Pass/General (see the List of offered Subjects) may apply as Pass/General.
    They should not enter % of marks of in the 'Honours' or 'Master’s Degree' row.

  7. B.E./B.Tech. (or any other qualification equivalent thereto) candidates with Science and/or Mathematics, with 55% marks , have to enter the % of marks of B.E/ B.Tech. in the row of Honours Degree. (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD)
    and should not enter % of marks of M.E./M.Tech. (if any) in the 'Master’s Degree' row.

Selection Method:

  1. Selection of Deputed candidates for admission will be made on Service Seniority till the 1st day of July, 2019.

  2. Selection of Fresher candidates will be made on Academic Scoring.
    Score=(% of Madhyamik) x 0.1+(% of HS) x 0.2+(% of Honours/B.E/B.Tech.) x 0.3 + (% of Master Degree) x 0.35 +(3 for M.Phil OR 5 for Ph.D)

  3. The Candidates who will be considered as Pass/General
    Score=(% of Madhyamik) x 0.1 + (% of HS) x 0.2 +(% of Pass or General ) x 0.1+(% of Master Degree ) x 0.35 +(3 for M.Phil OR 5 for Ph.D )

  4. A short list as per vacancy of seats will be published at and College Notice Board for counselling in due course.

  5. Candidates must report within 12.15 pm physically on the date of counselling. Candidates appearing after 12.15 p.m. will not be entertained for reporting under any circumstances.

  6. The sequence
    Reporting >>Verification >> Counselling >> Recommendation >> Pay the Admission fee >> Pay other fees >> Admission

  7. Documents required at counselling for verification for all .

    (i) All testimonials in original and self attested photocopy (i.e. all mark sheets and certificates)
    (ii) One self-attested print-out of the filled-up Application Form
    (iii)Print out of online payment slip
    (iv)Two passport size photographs
    (v) Aadhaar Card/ EPIC (for  photo and address proof)

  8. Extra documents required for Deputed candidates

    (vi) Original M.C. resolution duly countersigned by the D.I. / ADI.
    (vii) Original Teaching Certificate (class –IX to XII) issued by the H.M./ TIC
    (viii) Original & Photocopies of Service appointment letter
    (ix) Original & Photocopies of Joining report & approval by the D.I.
    (x) Govt. Order/NOC (for Govt. Deputed Candidates).

  9. After Verification of papers and elligibility, Candidates will be allowed to pay admission fee online.

  10. By producing the receipt of fees to the college, office the selected candidate will be admitted.

  11. If any anomalies detected even after admission, A candidate's admission will be cancelled.

Other Important Information Related to Admission

  • All the stipulated dates & time may be changed at any circumstances and the college authority deserves the rights not to mention the reason thereof.

  • At the time of admission, if any document related to admission is found inappropriate or insufficient or fake, entire procedure would be cancelled & criminal proceeding may be implied as per proper Rules & Regulations.

  • Ragging is prohibited as per UGC & NCTE norms. (After admission an affidavit will be reqired from students and Gurdian)

  • Selected candidates have to sign an declaration form physically on the date of admission.

  • Refundable Library Caution deposit Rs. 300/- will be collected for Library facility

  • A fixed amount will be collected and maintained by the students committee to conduct various programmes throughout the course (Barshamangal, Agamani, Field Trips, Campus beautification, Annual Cultural Programme, Sports, Magazines etc.) under the guidance of Teachers.
