Eligibility: As per NCTE regulation, 2014 and Rules of The West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training Education Planning and Administration & Department of Higher Education, Science and Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal, candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences / Humanity or Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. Course. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks for candidates belonging to reserved categories i.e. SC, ST & PH. The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/PWD and other categories shall be as per Rules of the State Government and parent University.
